08/05/2009: "Dale of Norway Design Contest 2009"

For the first time ever, Dale of Norway is putting the power in YOUR hands. . . Literally. We are looking for the next big Knit design, in Baby, Adult or Accessories. All you need to do is get those needles flying!!!
Prizes:
There will be three Categories that you can enter your design into:
Baby Design: $1,500 retail value in Dale of Norway Yarn
Adult Design: $1,000 retail value in Dale of Norway Yarn
Accessories: $500 retail value in Dale of Norway Yarn
We will also award 10 runner-up prizes of $250 retail value.

All entries must be submitted by Color Photo, stapled to a completed Entry Form, including Yarn Used and Description.

Designs MUST be KNIT up. We cannot accept any drawings.

Designs MUST be knit in Dale of Norway Yarn. However, it can be knit in any of our yarn qualities.

All Winning entries must submit a rough pattern, any graphs, and the actual garment for pictures and be able to answer any technical questions.

Deadline for all Entries is November 30th, 2009.
All Entries will be judged in December 2009, and winners will be announced in January 2010.
