09/25/2009: "Dale accessory kits"

Above is a photo of what you find in most of the Dale accessory kits. A zipper, elastic cord, cord stopper, and facing (in some of the kits, but not all). The facing is a piece of elastic fabric you attach to cover the raw cutting edges where the zipper has been sewn in. If you are not sure which zipper length to buy, the best thing is probably to wait until you have finished knitting. Before you cut open, measure the length of the zipper opening. If you end up with an odd number, order a zipper that is a tad shorter. As an example, if your measurement is 17 cm, order a zipper that is 16 cm long. It is better to gather than to stretch the garment out. Patches are not included with the kit. We have a limited supply available, and you can request a free patch with a $50.00 yarn order. We have a few different styles. Dale zipper kits and much more found here. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Happy Knitting.
