Falk color card.
Last Friday we were pleasantly surprised with a new Dale shipment. We worked hard over the weekend, and many back orders were shipped yesterday. The not so pleasant news is that many key Falk colors are still in production in Norway. We are still waiting for colors widely used in Dale patterns. Colors include white 0017, charcoal grey 0083, basic black 0090 and navy 5563 just to mention a few. Other colors on the way are 2931 light sheep heather, 9725 citron plus many, many more. We do not have a delivery date, but your order will be sent as soon as it is back in stock. Feel free to cancel your order with a full refund. We still have Vancouver patches and free pattern books left that we will enclose with all back orders. Email us if you have questions, and we will try and answer them for you.

Olympic GOLD

Vancouver 2010 Dale of Norway patch.
The Gold medal for knitting goes to Norwegian knitters. The Olympic Games created a spike in knitting activity and Norwegian knitters bought all the yarn. Well, this is what we have been told, and this is why there is such a huge back log. A supply and demand kind of a thing. For those of you who have patience with us, we will enclose a free Dale pattern book and a free Vancouver 2010 Dale of Norway Olympic patch. For those of you who wish to cancel your order, we fully understand. Send us an email and we will issue a full refund. We are working closely with upper management to nail down a delivery date, and will give you new information as it becomes available to us.

Backorders again

We might as well take a nap. We have not received anything from Norway in close to a month. Orders are piling up, but we do not have anything to send you. Feel free to cancel your order with a full refund, or email us about substitutions. In the meantime I am lifting my spirit by looking at some of my travel photos. I took this photo in Agua Caliente, Peru last year on our way to Machu Picchu. Good times!
